We’re happy to share a new collaboration between boxxx Art Collective & Gallery and Zema Contemporary Art Gallery, bringing our experience, ideas and networks together to support contemporary artists and present exhibitions in Amsterdam.
Over the past year, boxxx has been bringing artists and audiences together through exhibitions, encounters and live performance. Zema brings three years of experience presenting contemporary artists in the Netherlands and abroad, adding an international network and fresh perspectives to the collaboration.
We share a curiosity about art and a desire to give artists room to develop, show their work and reach new audiences. Each gallery will keep its own identity, while we work together on exhibitions and exchanges that reflect both our interests. We look forward to introducing new names, making unexpected connections and creating opportunities for conversations between artists, collectors and visitors.
As part of this collaboration, we’re delighted to welcome Gabrielle Ulm, a Hungarian curator working internationally, as our special guest curator. She will present the work of Sander Gergely in Amsterdam.
